Kristin Fischer will join CNN as the Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. In her position as the Correspondent for Defence and Space at CNN, she's responsible covering everything from NASA and the newly formed Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the rise and development in space travel. Kristin was the daughter of NASA astronauts and a space enthusiast, grew up immersed in the industry. She spent five years in the position of White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy during the Biden and Trump administrations. While there, she also covered two impeachment trials for the president and the presdiential 2020 campaign, and two administration's attempts to control the pandemic of coronavirus. She also traveled with President Trump and the Vice President frequently. The trip included a shady trip to Afghanistan.
